Welcome to OCEC

The Oakdale Community Education Council (OCEC) was formed in 2011-2012 to help the District seek community input as we developed a new three-year Operational Plan to guide the District and OJUSD Board of Trustees in achieving our long-range strategic plan goals. The OCEC was so productive and well received that we will continue with Council moving forward! The OCEC will have significant input on the elements of curriculum, community collaboration, enhanced parental involvement, technology, standardized testing education and nutrition. The OCEC will be conducting a “Town Hall Meeting” in 2012-13 to inform our parents on the importance of a home study environment and the meaning of STAR Test results. It is impressive to see the level of commitment our community has towards student achievement.
