Title 1 
The purpose of this title is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards and state academic assessments.

Parent Involvement
Children are more successful in school when parents are involved in their education. Each school district that receives Title I funds must take certain actions in order to promote parent involvement at each of their school sites. OJUSD has developed 2006-2007 Parent Involvement Action Plan to increase the home-school connection.
