Student Parking

Parking is provided as a privilege on the west side of campus by the gymnasium and in the student lot. These spaces are assigned for a fee by lottery drawing by the Associated Student Body. There is also first come, first served parking for students on the east side of campus in a combined staff/student lot. Students that park on campus do so at their own risk. Oakdale Joint Unified School District is not responsible for damaged or stolen items.

Student Parking Regulations: Students may park at OHS only if they obtain a parking permit by meeting the following conditions:

1. Possess a valid California Driver’s License
2. present proof of current auto insurance
3. Complete and sign registration form and return to VP office

Parking at OHS is a privilege and may be revoked if a student fails to abide by the following rules:

• Clearly display valid permit at all times. (Hang from rear view mirror or clearly visible on dash of vehicle.)
• Park only in marked spaces in lots designated for student use. (See Reg. Form for details.)
• Abide by all rules for use of vehicles at school as listed on the registration form.

Street Parking: Students are never to park in front of the school in the time limited area during school hours. Violation of parking policy may result in disciplinary action, including detention, suspension, and citation/ticketing.

Dropping Off and Picking Up Students: The time limited area in front of school is reserved fro the drop off and pick up of students. Do not drop off or pick up students in the Staff Parking lot.

Staff Parking

In the main staff lot on the northwest end of campus is provided for school staff only. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE STAFF PARKING LOT DURNING THE SCHOOL DAY.
