Step 2: Local Scholarship

3:00 p.m.  Application printed and signed two letters of recommendation due.  Every senior should file a local scholarship application.  Our local businesses and alumni have provided over 100 scholarships for our students.

FAFSA Application Filing Dates

Every senior should file a financial aid form.  Please don’t self-disqualify yourself; don’t assume that your child will not qualify for financial aid.  Need is based on the cost of the college, minus what the government believes a family can pay.  The more expensive the college, the more the student’s need.  Submit a FAFSA as early as possible during the filing period and see what may be offered to your child.
