Mike Moore is the Principal of Oakdale High School. Oakdale High School was opened
in 1892 and has been the only comprehensive high school in Oakdale.
It is an open campus with a student body of approximately 1,600
students. The school serves students in grades nine through twelve
and offers a selection of classes designed to help ensure that all
students reach their full potential. Through the passing of a bond
the district has recently constructed a new library and 19 new
classrooms and we are in the process of expanding our campus with
the addition of 13 acres to be developed into a baseball diamond,
two softball diamonds and two soccer fields and student parking lot
and a bus drop off point. There are also plans for modernizing the
existing facilities with the bond money and that project will start
in the fall of 2006.
