Know Your Writing Standards
Before, During, and After Your Grade Level
Welcome to the
Writing Standards page. In an effort to support a continuum of
writing for students in OJUSD, a group of Oakdale teachers has
identified Writing Standards which describe the writing focus for
each grade level.The
writing focus for the grade prior and following is included to help
each grade level teacher choose writing activities of appropriate
rigor for their grade level, tap into knowledge gained in the
previous grade level, and ensure adequate preparation for the
upcoming grade level's expectation.
