Coronavirus 2020 and OJUSD
Posted 3/15/20

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Oakdale Joint Unified School District is working closely with State and County Public Health agencies along with other school districts in monitoring current conditions and accurate information of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The District has taken multiple measures to proactively plan and responsibly respond for the safety of students and staff. OJUSD has an Epidemic/Pandemic Response Plan in place and we have instructed students on mitigating practices, disinfecting high touch surface areas, and heightening everyone’s sense of awareness for any staff member or student exhibiting flu-like symptoms that calls for a person to immediately be sent home and referred to their physician.

OJUSD will continue to respond responsibly and take actions based on current facts and in consultation with Public Health Officials. This situation is fluid, and the OJUSD will continue to update this information so that parents are kept up to date on this situation.
